Community Care, St. Catharines & Thorold Receives $5,000 from McDougall Energy for the Holidays
St. Catharines and Thorold, ON (December 16, 2020): McDougall Energy Inc. (McDougall Energy) and Imperial Oil’s Esso™ Community Program have donated $5,000 toward and Community Care, St. Catharines & Thorold to help brighten up the holidays for those in need.
Since 1919, Community Care, St. Catharines & Thorold has been meeting the needs of the less advantaged in their community. Programs range from food and shelter security to emergency services and support that lead to the independence clients strive to achieve.
“This has been a very challenging year due to COVID-19, and we want to help bring Christmas cheer to deserving individuals and families in our communities,” said Darren McDougall, President, McDougall Energy. “McDougall Energy is built on the support of our customers, and we are committed to giving back to our communities and the dedicated organizations that help make a difference every day through our Community Investment Program.”
Community Care requires significant financial support to deliver the programs and services that will assist those who struggle to make ends meet. This donation will help bring a little joy this holiday season as they strive to make sure that tummies are filled, beds are kept warm, lights are kept on, many shelter needs are met, and hope that families can enjoy a Christmas dinner with presents under the tree.
