McDougall Energy Awarded Company of the Year by Northern Ontario Business

McDougall Energy Inc. (“McDougall Energy”) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as Company of the Year (51+ employees) at the 2022 Northern Ontario Business Awards.

Founded in 1986, the Northern Ontario Business Awards (NOBA) recognize entrepreneurs, companies, and organizations whose extraordinary efforts are generating prosperity in the North.

Nomination submissions were vetted by a panel of judges that evaluated nominees on their overall business performance and impact on the North, from customer service and community involvement to human resource management and future planning.

Since 1949, McDougall Energy has called Northern Ontario home. Originating from Thessalon, Ontario, the Company currently maintains its Corporate Head Office in Sault Ste. Marie, where it has full intention to stay.

“We’ve been blessed to be able to expand our business across most parts of Canada. We now operate through Ontario and parts of Western Canada, including areas of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan,” said Darren McDougall, President of McDougall Energy Inc. “As our business and customer base has grown, we’re proud to be from Northern Ontario.”

McDougall Energy is proud of its roots and grateful for the support of the communities it operates in. The team looks forward to new opportunities to continue the legacy that three generations of family ownership have built.
