Definitions
“Eligible Customer” means a McDougall Energy residential customer who satisfies all eligibility requirements set out in Section 2 of these Terms and Conditions.
“Eligible Region” means a geographic region within the Province of Ontario that McDougall Energy has designated, from time to time, as eligible for the Offer in accordance with Section 3.
“HVAC Installation” means the installation of eligible propane-fueled heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning equipment provided and installed by McDougall Energy at the Premises, the total customer cost of which (before applicable taxes) meets or exceeds the applicable minimum spend thresholds described in these Terms and Conditions.
“McDougall Energy” means McDougall Energy Inc.
“Offer” means the promotional offer described in Section 1, pursuant to which an Eligible Customer may receive either 500 litres or 1,000 litres of propane at no cost, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
“Premises” means the Eligible Customer’s residential property located within an Eligible Region where the HVAC Installation is performed and where propane is supplied by McDougall Energy under the Propane Agreement.
“Propane Agreement” means a propane supply agreement entered into between McDougall Energy and the Eligible Customer in respect of the Premises.
1. Offer
Subject to the Eligible Customer satisfying the eligibility requirements set out in Section 2, the geographic limitations in Section 3, and all other applicable terms and conditions, McDougall Energy shall provide an Eligible Customer with either five hundred (500) litres or one thousand (1,000) litres of propane at no cost in connection with an eligible HVAC Installation performed by McDougall Energy at the Premises, as follows:
- Eligibility
To qualify as an Eligible Customer and receive the Offer, a customer must satisfy all of the following eligibility requirements:
- the customer must be a McDougall Energy residential customer and reside at the Premises located within an Eligible Region;
- the customer must enter into, and remain in good standing under, a Propane Agreement with McDougall Energy in respect of the Premises;
- the customer must purchase and complete an eligible HVAC Installation provided and installed by McDougall Energy at the Premises with a total customer cost exceeding $2,000.00, before applicable taxes; and
- the HVAC Installation must be fueled by propane supplied by McDougall Energy. For greater certainty, the Offer does not apply to HVAC equipment fueled by heating oil, natural gas, or any other fuel source.
- Geographic Region
- The Offer is available only to Eligible Customers whose Premises are located within the Goderich, Ontario area and surrounding region, as determined by McDougall Energy from time to time (the “Eligible Region”).
- Without limiting subsection (a), the boundaries of the Eligible Region may be changed, modified, expanded, restricted or withdrawn by McDougall Energy in its sole discretion.
- Customers may contact McDougall Energy at hvac@mcdougallenergy.com to confirm whether their Premises is located within an Eligible Region.
- Additional Conditions
The following additional conditions apply to this Offer:
- The Offer is available only to Eligible Customers who satisfy all eligibility requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
- McDougall Energy may require Eligible Customers to provide reasonable supporting documentation to verify eligibility, including documentation relating to residency at the Premises, completion of the HVAC Installation, and compliance with the Propane Agreement.
- The Offer shall be applied only after the HVAC Installation has been completed and the Eligible Customer’s propane account has been established and remains in good standing.
- The Offer has no cash value, is non-transferable, non-assignable, and may not be substituted, exchanged, combined, or redeemed for any other offer, rebate, credit, or promotion unless expressly authorized by McDougall Energy in writing.
- The Offer is limited to one (1) Offer per Premises, unless otherwise approved by McDougall Energy in writing.
- McDougall Energy may amend, suspend, or withdraw the Offer or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such amendment will apply prospectively only and will be effective upon posting the revised Terms and Conditions at mcdougallenergy.com.
- In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional materials, or other communications relating to the Offer, these Terms and Conditions shall govern.
- The Offer is available from February 1, 2026 to September 1, 2026.
