McDougall Energy Spreads Holiday Cheer, Donating $86,000 to Local Charities across Ontario

McDougall Energy has donated $86,000 to 37 charities that are supporting youth, families, and individuals in need this holiday season.

Recipients of these donations include charities and local non-profit organizations dedicated to alleviating financial stress and food insecurity over the holiday season. These groups depend heavily on volunteers, community support, and corporate giving to provide essential wellness products, gifts, and gift cards for those in need. Food banks are preparing for increased demand and specialty food orders as they stock their shelves, ensuring no one goes hungry this winter.

“We are proud to support these deserving organizations and the important work they do. Our donation is a small contribution compared to the ongoing work the charities and their volunteers do for members within their communities. We hope to bring extra joy to children, families, and individuals who could use additional support this holiday,” says Darren McDougall, President of McDougall Energy.

Giving back to local communities is an important value that has been passed down through three generations of family ownership at McDougall Energy. By supporting local charities, programs, and initiatives, the company aims to enhance the quality of life of others and build stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities that benefit everyone. The 37 charities listed below represent the various communities and regions McDougall Energy proudly serves. Local team members had the opportunity to meet with the charities to gift them with donations and thank them for their service to their communities.
